I was comissioned by Natuurstad to create a photo series that highlights the connection between humans and Nature within the city.

Over the smmer of 2024 I visited several Natuurstad locations and met the people who take care of the gardens.
During these visits I took their portraits. To embody the connection between humans and Nature,
I used anthotypes, a 19th-century photographic print technique that uses organic materials to print photos.
One of the key characteristics of the anthotype is that it will slowly fade when exposed to light, emphasizing humans’ transience in contrast to nature's resilience.

The series ended up being exhibited in the maastunnel in Rotterdam from the 1st of November 2024 till the 28th of february 2025.
